The Total Organic Carbon Analyzer is an analytical instrument used to determine total organic carbon concentration in water samples. It can analyze water samples with TOC concentrations ranging from 0.1μg/L to 1500.0μg/L, featuring high sensitivity, excellent accuracy, and reliable stability.

Working Principle

The Total Organic Carbon Analyzer oxidizes slowly flowing water samples using a UV lamp, determining the TOC value of the water sample by measuring the change in conductivity before and after oxidation. Under the action of a peristaltic pump, the water sample enters the Teflon tubing and sequentially passes through the first electrode, the quartz spiral tube, and the second electrode, before finally being discharged through the waste tube. During detection, the conductivity values from both sensors are simultaneously collected to obtain G1 and G2. Organic matter in the water sample generates CO₂ under the action of the dual UV lamps, causing the conductivity to rise. The corresponding total organic carbon is calculated via the differential value (G2 – G1).
